I'd say you should add
Miss May I - Apologies Are For The Weak

atm i think it is > darkest hour

Listened to a few songs from it, it sounds like they took a few Darkest Hour riffs, added blast beats, played that for 45 seconds, spent the next two minutes emulating KSE, and threw in some open string power chord chugging and called it a breakdown. Their songwriting is terrible, each song sounds like short sections of several songs thrown together, and no instrumental performance seems anything more than ordinary.

Alternatively, you can chop up descriptions of the new and innovative styles of metalcore that Darkest Hour, KSE, Shadows Fall, from 2002-2003, then put them together without much attention to making complete sentences.

MMI have some potential, but I don't think they have much direction other than emulating the sound of the aforementioned bands, and most likely some of the hard rock/mainstreamish bands that are also labeled metalcore (Bullet for my Valentine etc), but I don't know those too well.

interesting
I still enjoy it very much though

I know that you don't listen to much metalcore but you should see the new ABR album
It's pretty much epic imo
