was ok.

it wasn't as brooding as i'd expected based on the reviews but i thought it was different enough from the original disney crapshoot that it had entertainment value. i would've liked to see more stuff regarding the strangeness of how we think (as per the book) but it looks like disney sold out on intelligence in favor of a hint of strangeness. burton did alright with the directing. anne hathaway struck me as a total failure as per expectation.

donno/10 but not > 6 or 7 for me

if u like her you might approve of the movie moar
i didn't think it was terrible. i just expected something different from it so of course i felt at odds with it. i thought they did a good job with the cheshire cat (on a positve note).

i want to read the book again, but it would have to wait for after the movie. reading a book first destroys the movie (generally ofc)

I think this movie would be great if it was called Alice in Underland, because Burton called it "wonderland" it changed everyones expectations, i thought it was a really cool movie as long as you dont expect to see the Alice in Wonderland anything like the book.

tl;dr: Great movie, its not Alice in Wonderland, should have different name.
