theres some badass near-industrial flame particle systems built into the program and available as add-ins, but shit would take forever to render animated on my laptop

had some mesh issues, but this is the large part of the blade after i slimmed it down and gave it some depth, middle part of the head and the part on the other side of the handle havent been changed so are still blocky, so you can compare the difference between the two sides of the blade

thats 1 vertex of depth, could have done more, but it should look fine when its not so zoomed in, if i want to i can always go back in and add another 1-2 vertex depth to make it look better
