awesome ep, LOVED tyrion meeting up with dany. he is a game changer and could be the person dany needs to stop being an idiot and lead like a queen. hopefully sansa finding out the truth about theon/bran/rickon will help bring her back her strength that she lost being fucked by ramsey. jon plotline is good, dragonglass is gone but he knows valerion steel is gfg. loved the imagery of the camp where the first overhead shot is the town and surroundings full of wildling warriors, and the ending shot is the town full of wights. arya plotline is the same as the books so far, im good with it.

im guessing the next ep, titled "a dance with dragons" is where dany rides away on drogon, and the one after that is the cersi naked march. pretty stoked. interested to see what happens with jorah

what exactly happened to stannis?

i dont get the absolute love for him. he is a great character but a horrible person (stolen from reddit). lawful neutral i believe is the character archetype. and its generally just as evil as good since it lacks compassion and will often go to any means necessary to satisfy the immediate goal. in fact, by typing that i now realize why i have always disliked him. while he is a good character, hes a terrible person. proven by that last action

though id love to hear why you think otherwise.

The writers of the show have leaked that GRRM told them Stannis killing his daughter was in the plans for the book series. he told them to do it because it was imminent in asoiaf

1 i think it did help, the storm let up and they didnt freeze/starve to death. i didnt think the burning was for battle. but i agree, stannis was never king and she wasnt kings blood. makes you wonder just what mellie is up to
