if the marshal, then it was just the natural progression of what was inevitable
im kinda thinking it was just the inevitable conclusion of the actions but it made for a great spot to end for the speculation
though they are obviously trying to make the "jax is actually worse than clay" plot line and i could see that though i just didnt actually think that jax would ever really turn on tara.

She had only just told Jax she was leaving, he didnt have time to rat her, and i dont think he would. Gemma arrived right after, unless Jax called her and they didnt show it, she seem to arrive right after she is arrested, i think it was her. Plus she did threaten to do so.

what i don't understand about gemma's threat to rat out tara, is that she said to tell the cops that tara told her exactly what she was going to do with it...wouldn't that also implicate gemma?

i would assume plausible deniability, how could she know what tara was going to do with it?

thats the way i was looking at it

her testimony would mean nothing without that knowledge though. if gemma was ignorant, there's no way tara would be at any different point she was at now. tara's story is that she gave otto the cross, but had no idea what he would do with it(which is the truth). gemma's testimony would have to somehow refute that.

i think tara is trying to say it was just a cross, not a cross that she got from her samcro friends. at least that was my assumption
though i do agree that its not gemma, she was just trying to play tough girl

didnt gemme say she would tell the cops that she gave tara the cross and tara knew what she was giving it to otto for (murder)?

i think scott has a valid point, if tara knew then gemma had to have known. only real defense is "i gave it to tera then later she told me she knew and lied to me". but i dont think with their connection to the club that that holds up.

My intention was to definitely put that out there as a possibility, and I think we’ll reveal how that happened. I do want the audience coming away with, “Wow, did she actually follow through on that threat? And what does that mean for Gemma and Jax if he finds out?” I definitely wanted to create that discussion.

That will remain to be seen.

Jax barely reacted to Tara’s arrest and then seemed all-too-content with welcoming Gemma back into the fold. What was going through his head in those moments?
My sense is that there is a level of shock and awe in his mind, and a sense of betrayal by what she did — not that she wasn’t justified in doing it and not that it wasn’t the right thing to do, but he felt betrayed. I also think [there was a] level of strength and almost stillness she had about those decisions; she wasn’t the fragile, neurotic Tara we’ve seen in the past. She was much more Gemma-like in these decisions: “This is my job, this is what I have to do, and I’m f–ing doing it.” That was new to Jax, seeing Tara be that strong and be that Old Lady. He was overwhelmed by all of that, which impacted his ability — or perhaps inability — to react when she got taken away. He was neutralized by it all, and that’s what was going on.

i dont agree with that last answer, i dont think jax would be so shocked that she has become a strong old lady, she has been there before, in season 4 she became a complete badass and he loved it
