got comcast, cuz city doesnt have fios. came with 3 months free of HBO, tried hbo go - and its awesome!

might even try to convince my wife to keep HBO when its 10 bucks a month

i dont understand why they arent able to detach from cable companies and offer it standalone like hulu. or at least they should reach out to xbox or ps3 users, i would totally get hbo go

im wondering if they're locked into some kind of contracting thing
it would make sense as a standalone service - i would get it

They have to be, and I think everyone would get it if they were standalone. every show HBO makes is great, but would they get enough subscriptions to pay for their shows if they didnt have cable companies backing them to get people on board with them/?
