Anyone watching this? I'm like 7 episodes in and it has been very entertaining. Gruesome murders, psychological stuff and interesting characters (well, Hannibal mostly).

silence of the lambs? great movie

I was referring to the TV series. Basically it has some key characters from Harris' books but other than that and the general themes it's different from the books and movies.

Season 2 start date: 28th February, excited for sure.
Probably have to re-watch season 1.

I watched the first few episodes and couldn't get into it, maybe later.

Yeah I can see why you couldn't get into it, it's really not much different on surface from a regular crime series. The only things really interesting to me are that it deals with psychology even if on a shallow level plus the whole Hannibal character is so awesome. The music also sets a pretty interesting mood to the whole series separating it from typical bullshit police dramas, and the murders are pretty unordinary too.

First episode of season two wasn't really that spectacular.

Second was far better imo, love this show.

Third episode was crazy. Definitely recommend this show.

Fourth episode was probably the best one so far in the entire series, haven't been this excited about a series in a long time.

Season 2 finale was just full of mind-fuckery. Can't wait for season 3.

Don't know what to think of S3 opener really, it depends on the next episode(s). Very different from what I've become accustomed to, but if it only serves as an artsy setting of the scene of the whole season, then I guess it's fine. Nice seeing more Bedelia ofc.

Last two episodes have been ridiculously good, it's exhilarating how this show keeps surprising me on so many different levels.
