what type of weapon I should be going for, I have always used a battle axe, but I have heard good things about scimitars.

monkey madness quest unlocks scimitar, and its regarded as best for that level

if you havent/dont want to do that quest, longsword is proalbey next best

yeah get a d long then a whipe at 70

Currently at 54atk/52str/53def - should I get to 60 attack first, then use the dragon scimitar/longsword to get to 70 attack so I can use a whip controlled, or should I keep them near the same?

i am keeping them near the same because i know its my only chance to be able to afford a whip at 70 i am 64/64/63

i still have to buy a slayer mask (650k)
dwarf cannon (700k)
whip (~1.7 mil)


however, if you just went straight to 60 attack, you could train the other two up to 60 easily with the d long. controlled sucks on the d long, you have to do it individually

controlled is for fags, get 54-60 attack, then 52-70str with d scim, then train the shit out of defense/attack with whip

you need 70 attack for whip

ya, my point was to get your strength to 70 before attack, because once you get a whip you wont want to go back to d scim any time soon, and whip cant train strength

Making some money now, smithed a lot of iron bars and steel bars, sold a few hundred thousand worth, smithing 600 steel bars into arrow tips to fletch onto 9000 headless arrows, that should enable me to fletch maples.

Hoping this will be able to fund new melee gear when I get the levels for it, otherwise I'll just woodcut/flax+spin/fletch/alch for money.

If you ever want to get 44 RC and want to craft nats w/ me, lmk. I can make about 1M/hour. Since you have to keep up with me, prolly about 800K or so a hour, but the downfall is you get no xp

thanks, I may consider this, I'm doing fairly well with money right now, spending a lot on things that give me a large return in gold. Slayer missions should get me some more to work with too.
