i killed 50 in the slayer tower, just tanking them with a bunyip. this was very fast

could've flipped at 3575, that's what i was doing but your cash back probably made up most of the difference.

EDIT: that is, quick flip is fine, but i usually wait 30-60 mins before even thinking about selling for a reasonable price

flipping consumables are about speed imo, nn the risk. you can make 100k-200k in 5 minutes and repeat every trip to the ge.

agree that speed is nice, mostly disagree about risk. there's no inherent risk in consumables that are relatively stable, except with stuff that may get botted, which can take a week or two to get back up if not priced right. and, to be sure, bots are officially 100% back

EDIT: that is, if the pricing is about right, evening consumables almost always sell overn8 if not right away. if right away, keep doing it until u get tired, then wait for overn8s. or i do that on the stable stuff. unstable = not going to wait overn8 unless testing new item.

the risk im referring to is not having the gold to do another flip while you wait for the price point you want. when flipping things like bones or other items with a massive volume i just dont see the benefit to waiting for the price to get back when you can just accept a break even flip so you can do another flip immediately.

this is all do to no ge limitations outside of the buy limit which means nothing since there is no 4 hour window.

It is a lot easier if you have the coin stack to purchase 2x or 3x the 4 hour buy limit
if the price drops by 100 and ypure stuck woth 10k you bought high, you can buy another 10 or 20 at the uper low price and sell the nezt day for a large profit on the whole lot

it never makes sense to hold on for a better price unless
a: you dont have the slots to do another flip on the ge
b: your expected gain on holding is greater than any other flip you could do in the same time

with the ge allowing near instant profits time is a factor to be considered.

edit: and ill let you rethink your scenario you proposed. if you are going to subsidize flip a with flip b why not do it immediately instead of at some later date?
