someone needs to be the citadel lord who bothers people to go to it and upgrade it

need 10 people to access in one week to upgrade to level 2, and need 5 people to access every single week otherwise it will degrade and become locked again

i know you can upgrade the patches themselves, but i dont remember how

the ring that gives 50% exp boost outside of the citadel only lasts a certain amount of time (you can get a new ring every 7 days), and the exp it lasts before it crumbles i think depends on the level of the skilling plot

gary, you should chop roots on the citadel tree until it gives you the message that you can get a clan ring

use your uncharged ring on the woodcutting patch then go cut ivy or something and see how long the 50% boost lasts

wonder when they updated the woodcutting plot, branches last more than 1 resource collection now, much easier

oh maybe this is because the plot is damaged because we didnt upkeep it

because we let our citadel fall to ruin, all our level 1 features require double the resources to upkeep them this tick

stronghold level 1 (3000)
storehouse level 1 (200)
battlefield level 1 (200)
woodcutting level 1 (300)

total of 3700, we currently have 2018, after i cut 700 more to reach my personal cap, we will be 1000 logs short of what we need to keep everything, so some m8s are going to have to come cut wood in the next 6 days

after the upkeep costs, we need 12,000 logs to make our mining patch (wont be able to reach this week, even if everyone caps)

at each build tick, we lose our 95% of our excess resources (since we have a level 1 storehouse, it only retains 5% of whats in it, up to 1000 maximum if we had 20k in the storehouse)

i dont understand how small clans can even get any features in these citadels

once we pass this week and dont owe double upkeep, its still going to be 1850 logs to upkeep, then 12,000 for mining plot

so we would need 14 people cutting their max weekly allowance (1,000) in that week, to get the mining plot

getting 1000 logs on a damaged level 1 tree takes a fair amount of time, will buy the tree level 2 upgrade so next week its a little faster

@gary, go to the quartermaster and upgrade our tree to level 2 (800 logs)

or set permissions to let our ranks buy upgrades

next week the new people will be full members and the citadel will upgrade to tier 2 (10 people entering)
if we gather enough for the stone plot, the following week we will get the stone plot, then the following week we can upgrade the storehouse to increase the personal resource cap

this is some long term bullshittery

if you want a worthwhile citadel, you need at least 25 people in the clan, 20 of which are active every single week

every week you do enough work to earn a clan ring, you get a fealty rank upgrade, 15%, 30%, 45% boost of experience gain whilst doing in-citadel skilling

and when you maintain fealty 3, you can get a weekly free exp boost in a skill equal to weekly shattered heart rocks

I ended at ~ 800 this morning. Ill do my remaining 200 until cap.

theres only 15 people total in the clan, and at least 2 or 3 are not active whatsoever

i got the ring but it says i cant charge it because the plot is dilapidated

ya need to wait for the build tick, we have resources to up it to level 2, keep the uncharged ring for 6 days then you can get another one that day

update, we cant get level 2 tree this week either, you need level 2 citadel for that as well

so we only need 3700 logs this week, any excess only 5% carries over to next week

So my 1k turns into 50 then, right?

Is there anything we can do with my other 950 or is it just me pissing the bed to get them?

need everyone in the clan thats been a member for 7 days to enter the citadel, dont need a ton of wood this week because we still wont have the level 2 citadel to make any upgrades, so dont bother getting resource capped if you dont want to

reset, need 14 m8s to visit and chop 1k wood
