If i win the lotto...

1. DC trip to someplace warm like cancun (nicks invited too)
2. world tour for like a year
3. hire old man to be accountant
4. pay for ozzy to get smuggled into the USA so I could get him deported
5. buy enough bandwith for dcnet so we could get more than 3 images per poop

I enjoy playing the lottery because it affords me the chance to spend some time in my day fantasizing about what I would do if I was rich.

$165 Million Powerball / $38 Million Florida Lottery - Spending $8 tonight on tickets.

5 plays on Powerball, 1 play on Florida Lottery @ $3 ticket since they have a scaled payout.

The Lottery Winning Plan

1. I would immediately ask for a month off from work without telling them why.
2. I then start consulting an accountant and a lawyer, or perhaps a firm that has both, to decide my best interest for my financial future. I do not tell my family, or friends. I setup new banking/financial accounts for the money to be deposited into.
3. I then take the lump sum (~50%) payment and have it distributed to my accounts. I will then divy up (depending upon the total payout) and equal, yet comfortable amount to the appropriate friends & family. They will be explained in great detail, at the appropritate time when I am later ready to distribute the money, that they will not receive any more than what they initially have been given. No questions, no exceptions.
4. I then proceed to spend some money: a condominium on the beach here in Naples, a home at wherever I decide to finish my education. I will allow myself to purchase some toys, a new vehicle, and a new wardrobe.
5. The rest of the money will be handled by my financial professionals to make appropriate investments, with certain lock outs on the money that I can't touch some of it without outside authorization (some type of trust).

Sounds somewhat similar, although I would let my family know and have them help with the planning and etc

And hiring joe as an accountant is more along the lines so he could take a year off work to tour the world

But def would need a financial advisor person, and :donno: its nice to dream
