Earlier today, UCONN issued a check to me for $476. This check was apparently a "refund" on overpaid tuition.

Before this, my balance was $0, and now I owe UCONN $476. My student account is disabled until this amount is paid. One spot opened up in a class that I would really like to take, but I can not register until this debt is settled. The check is supposed to be available at my campus bursar's office, but the person who would have the check isn't in, she'll be back five minutes after this class starts, and nobody else in the office can resolve this bullshit.

tl;dr - University issued a $476 check to me and I can't add a class until this $476 is paid to them, and the person who may have the check is out for lunch for 2 hours and will be back five minutes after this class starts.

I wonder if the University has someone with the same job as Adam who is currently watching my internet usage and is currently dispatching the SWAT team because they are too dumb to understand that I am not serious about the violence.

On second though, I know the University well enough to know that they probably have more people doing that than working in the bursar's office.

three rounds of new charges have been applied to my account, five different refund checks have moved around in the numbers, none of these checks have been mailed to me despite being told they would, and the bursar at this campus is unable to fucking add and tells me to call Storrs (other end of the state).

In the end I get fucked out of being able to register for a class that I need to graduate, but this useless fat bitch doesn't care.
