If you want something different get Sierra Nevada's Bigfoot, it is very hoppy but a whole new experience.

I appreciate the suggestion and will see if I can locate states beverage but I'm not getting my hopes up considering I have to travel approx 55 mins to buy anything other than yeungling products

On a serious note, do you like Belgian Wheat Ale's? Oberon & Shock Top are pretty nice, and if you really want to get crazy and perhaps mix your own cocktail, I can give you a recipe for a gin based drink that tastes out of this world.

This is called a Gin Delicious (I don't know the measurements, but I will go ahead and try to give you an idea & some substitutes):

2 oz Beefeater Gin (any Gin will work)
1/2 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice (Just juice a small lime or two)
2-3 Fresh Mint Leaves muddled up
Splash of Simple Syrup (Sugar & water boiled down together, as much sugar until it will no longer mix in)
Serve with a sugar rim Martini glass.

It's a lot like a Mojito as far as the ingredients are concerned (minus the soda water), but it's probably one of the best drinks I have ever had that includes gin. I don't particularly care for gin with anything aside from Tonic, but you can really fucking barrel through these. The Beast would probably like it.

Not really down my alley as I honestly dislike sweets and off-flavors in my drinks. I usually drink my liquor straight or if I'm feeling crazy I might let some ice in.

I have homegrown mint but I only use it in tea. When it warms up I will def give this a go for her.
