chili
rice
carrots + cauliflower + snow peas with chili sauce on them

Made the chili with a bunch of fresh chili peppers and onion diced then simmered in olive oil on low heat throughout the duration of the Rangers game, added ground beef and cooked that, slowly cooked it for another hour with red kidney beans and some other red beans, also dissolved three boullion cubes in a bottle of Sam Adams Winter Lager and added that + reduced. Spices included some very nice pure ground chili, Hungarian paprika, and garlic. Used tomato paste + V8 juice for tomato product, very flavorful.

Sounds like you are going to be making a deposit to a porcelain container later on.

rice and vegetables work very well with a spicy chili, they take some of the sting out but leave all of the flavor.
