we had a 4 day weekend and i went out 4 nights drinking with friends. spent like 4 hours in my room all weekend. sunday, roomate has the balls to tell me i drink too much and its a problem, and says his friends in new york only go out 2 times a week.

usually i go out like once a week, but last weekend i went out a bunch because its our last break before finals. however, there are 3 bottles of liquor in my freezer and a bunch of beer in the fridge.

roomate spent about 140-170 hours over the whole weekend in the room, eating nothing but frozen pizza, drinking soda, watching anime and playing with his computer code for some shitty programming class. he didnt drink at all or go to any parties during the weekend

hes obv a better person that me and has such a great life cuz he doesnt drink

lol, thats ok i think. the only time i think alcohol is a problem is when you:
1.) miss an appointment or a due date because you're drunk/been drinking
2.) cannot assist or aid a friend on a regular basis because drunk/been drinking
3.) are prevented from seeing certain friends / people because drinking
4.) personal production decreases (work, school, sports, hobbies, etc)

have not failed at any of these yet, and roomate never sees me when i drink, and i never come back to the room completely hammered. donno it bothers me he thinks this.

one should spend college getting as fucked up as possible while maintaining good grades
that way you dont wake up one day and you are 27 and realize you forgot to live

this assumes you are capable of stopping the downward spiral once you realize life is more important than getting fucked up daily after college
