Campus Safety Alert: Strong-arm Robberies
The Milwaukee Police Department has alerted UWM to a series of
strong-arm robberies and attempted strong-arm robberies that happened
during the past two afternoons in the area south of campus.
On Wednesday, May 6, there were incidents at 3:10 and 3:35 p.m. in the
2800 and 3000 blocks of North Cramer Street (the first and third blocks
south of the Physics Building).
On Thursday, May 7, there were incidents at 3:15 and 3:20 p.m. along
North Murray Street (in the second block south of the Physics Building).

about the incidents.
The UWM Police Department would like to remind anyone who might become a
victim of a robbery to co-operate and turn over any valuables. No amount
of property is worth risking one’s personal safety. Stay calm, get good
descriptions of any suspects and their direction of travel, and contact
the local police department as soon as possible.
