Went to bed at 11pm yesterday, felt great to get solid 10hours of sober sleep.

Woke up at 9 and went to first day of physical therapy on my right knee, can actually go now since home from college.

Felt great during and feels even better now that im home.

25$ copay every time i go, going twice a week for who knows how long :euh:.

50$ a week down the tubes :donno:

However, he said i should be at 100% in a month or so, which is great news considering my orthopedist told me i might not be able to play basketball again 2 months ago.

I'm out of the loop. What did you do to your knee? Dislocation?

mastaurbating knee, I have always said standing up whacking it can be a bad idea, this just goes to show how it can damage your body

Ya i dislocated it playing basketball during spring break, it is a sublixed dislocation so it can dislocate again etc.

I have been playing bball since the injury with a brace, however i am not as quick on cuts and cannot jump high whatsoever.

Can't wait to be able to play bball again at 100%.

@Dan - ofc

My knee tends to dislocate too but not as severely as yours, it sucks though. I don't understand how it could be at 100% in a month or so.

it is dislocating for a reason, and it is easily fixable with the right stretching and strengthening.

no permanent damage

Sounds like you got lucky. My brother needed surgery on his and has since dislocated his same knee twice.

I blew mine out in a rugby game and have loose bone fragments under my patella. Doc said my chances of popping her out again are significantly increased and surgery is a must if it happens again since I refused it last time.

The cost of physical therapy isn't bad m8, a lot of insurance plans won't even cover things like that, and it is absolutely worth it. No permanent damage is great news for you ofc.
