tomatoes fresh from the garden, cut in half and grilled with italian dressing/3 cheeses/fresh basil, chives and parsley that were cut and dried this morning

I was at their brewpub yesterday and they have it out on draft already. However, the oktoberfests in question were ones that I purchased at discount from another LBC location closer to home. The freshness date was set to expire the following month because it was a late batch. I got them at less than a buck a bottle. Same beer, 2 different years and yikes they are completely different.

LBC doesnt exactly follow a conventional schedule like other microbreweries do. They kinda just make shit when they want to and sometimes its the right season and sometimes its not.. lol

Reminds me of a place where my brother used to buy high end microbrews near and below half price because they were close to or just past expiration.

Drinking a Manhattan made with Jim Beam Green, it is delicious.
