If i start my computer in anything other than safe mode, screen just stays black.

if you updated your vid drivers, that would be the problem. update your drivers and if your using new drivers go back to using the old drivers

eh if its a mac dunno. but usually in windows its program files - add/remove programs

im using a windows atm.

im about to chuck it out the fucking window and buy a mac though.

doh u said mac had to do it for you last time. i thought u had a mac my bad ya go to control panel - add/remove programs - then look for your video drives depending what you have a nvidia or ati. then reboot and it should work fine and get a older version of your video drivers and your good to go

so you're telling me i should delete my driver and reinstall an older one.

yes, had 2 phone calls with same sit last nite, they let windows update there video driver and then black screen and wouldnt load
