This is a TL;DR with meni pictures. So if you have the time to press on and read my story, I encourage you.

Last weekend the beast was the designated driver for myself and my friend named Bryan (yes Dan the Bryan you know) to go to a micro brew fest held at Stoudts Brewery.

Between the hours of noon and 4 p.m. I consumed 39 beers and shared 2 growlers (approx 1.4 gallons of beer) with my friend during the ride home. Yes I know it was exactly 39 beers between noon and 4 because the Beast had a notebook and she kept track of each beer I had from every single brewery. My friend Bryan being a much smaller guy had the heart of a real hero and tried to keep up, but I could tell by 1:30 that shit was starting to get fuzzy for him. But in order to keep track of the days events for himself, he carried a notebook to write down his thoughts about some different brews he might be interested in trying again in the future.

This evening I got home from work and I saw this strange little object poking out from under my beer fridge. Hmmm what is this... behold, Bryan's book of notes!

You need to try the Rare Vos friend.

I'm 20 mins away from the Ommegang brewery.

Three Philo is a meal in a bottle, and a few of those will put you out.

But have you ever heard of the Henn challange

Drink 6 and see if youc an still function

I have 1 rare vos left from the 4 pack I purchased last week along with some others, it isnt bad.
I have not heard of the Hennepin challange and :donno: if I would even be interested in it, im not a fan of Saison.

By drink 6 do you mean a normal sixpack or 750 ml bottles? 6x 750 ml would be funny.

Eh, during the ride home when we started chugging the growlers filled with porter is when it really hit me. I didnt get sick or anything but I was ready to go to bed when we got home at 6 p.m. However, we had company come over for supper and to try my homebrew and I was somehow functioning semi-normally until 9:30 when I told everyone gn8 and just went to bed LOL.

The glasses had a 10oz mark 3/4 of the way up them. Most were filled at the line or slightly over so it so it was only a sip or two away from a normal 12oz bottle of beer for each one.

I sense sarcasm.

Because if you gained that much weight.

You have more then a eating problem/lack of exercise.

There are quite a few to choose from isn't there. Or is there one exceptionally large one you are referring to? I wasn't planning on going to Philly but that doesn't mean I won't if the opportunity should arise.

Also, I'll admit that I was caught off guard yesterday by the sheer number of Oktoberfest banners and new breweries advertising Oktoberfest cases this year. And where the fuck did all the hype aboot pumpkin ale come from? Why are people buying that? The 3 kinds I had were horrible and I'm kinda ashamed to admit I even tried 3.

Who's did you have?

The one I had last year was saranac and I would consider trying dogfish heads this year but I can't get that thought out of my mind that it's like drinking a tea made with a fall-scented air freshener.
