On a side note, this is the closest thing I have ever had that is commerically available that is similar to my home brewed oaked bourbon porter.

The first time I had Chimay I was not impressed. But then I had it again with some of the cheese those same Chimay monks make and wow was that good. Pretty much all of those trappist beers are available in the US if you want to spend the $ (except for Westvleteren.) Those fuckers make you go to their temple/brewery to buy it and it's the only way you can get it unless someone goes over there and gets it and then resells it to you for $30 a bottle. I think there is something illegal in the Rochefort 10. It made me buzzed in a different kind of way when I drank it, those monks are not to be trusted.
