Another disappointment from magic hat.

Of the ones I tried (#9, Lucky Kat IPA, Odd Notion Summer Belgian Blonde, and now this Wacko summer foo foo thing) I have not had a single beer by them that I can honestly say I enjoy and would purchase again.

I saw a recent advertisement for their fall odd notion and it is a belgian stout. I think I will give them one last chance before I write them off as a brand I completely dislike.

Bells makes some fine products. I have described their porter before as being a very mild porter for someone who isn't really into bold flavors but is interested in experimenting with trying porter/stout. Their brown ale is good a well as their pale ale which is a little weak in hoppiness but still enjoyable. Their 2 hearted ale is a delicious beast if you enjoy hop bombs.

The rest I am not too familiar with but I can't see 3/4 of the links cuz I'm on the ilolphone.

Smithwicks is made by Guinness and is marginally OK. Nothing I would really go out of my way for.

OlaDub or however you spell it has some really interesting treats that are on my list to try. Some of their black ales are aged in old (20, 30, 40 years old) single malt scotch barrels... I gather they come with a salty price tag, especially if it's something your not already (in to.)

Doing a mix-a-six is an awesome way to discover new beer. Unfortunately the only place I know of within 2 hours of me charges like 20 bucks for a mix a six and all the beers I'm most interested in trying are excluded from the mixing...bastards

12.50 -- 15 per 6 pack depending on what ya get
from what I have seen it covers damn near everything in the store except the super expensive stuff (like the oladubh)
