We drank pretty much all day and went out to the bar that night. When we got back (I'm assuming between midnight and 2) we started writing lyrics and strumming the guitar. That recording was sometime around 9:30 in the morning. I don't know or bother to recall how much or little he had but you can hear the ackward pauses in my strumming

I'd be willing to bet that the beer in question was saranac lager. The bar across the street from our house did dollar pitchers of saranac and that's about the only thing I got cases of in college.
