DISO a break in the weather. It was single digits this weekend and I actually had to put a space heater INSIDE my kegerator to keep my beverages from freezing.

Its doubtful the a cat being used a frisbie could recreate that sound.

the alaskan barley was friggin amazing, i could drink that daily
the russian river consecration was meh, maybe i need to treat that like wine and pair it to food, not just drink it ghetto style out of the bottle

i have not tried any of the deschutes ones yet, thought you may have said to let them age

i still have one of scotts beers yet to consume too

I guess it all depends on wat you are after. The Alaskan barleywine already has been bottle conditioned for a year. Waiting longer to drink it wouldn't change it much. Usually the beers that I said to sit on for awhile taste really "hot" when fresh meaning very forward alcohol and hop taste. The longer they sit, the more they mellow out.

Beer nerds across the country would be in tears over you drinking consecration from the bottle. It's not really my kinda style...call me weird but I have a tendency to shy away from beer that has been described as tasting like "licking a horse's blanket."

except with wine its grapes at the bottom, not the leftover buttcrust from some constipated hyena
