Actually we tend to pick and choose where we help. And often times it comes with either up front stipulations, or back deals are made that are advantageous to us.
Let's not start considering this a complete act of charity. Most actions are dictated out of personal motives rather than altruism.
i never said we are pure in our intentions
but whenever there is a crisis like this we tend to help, unless their government refuses to oversee where our money/troops go
