I think it would be logical to understand that putting something on fire and then inhaling it would be in no way healthy for you.

the quantification of "not that bad" is what pot always comes down too. since we, as humans, hurt ourselves with everything we do (i mean, we cant even breath clean air in todays world), the statement should not be that its healthy, but that its in no way worse than countless other accepted things we do to ourselves.

the only solution is to not leg us, as humans, have any freedoms or let us have freedoms. but only letting us have some freedoms is the troubling thing imo.

I have no problem with people who smoke pot. I know some people who are moderate users and function fine. And the fact that the ones who smoke pot and are losers, if it wasn't pot it would proalbley be something else.

I am a supporter of pot being legal and industrialize to make more jobs for productions of hemp paper/clothing and harvested for the production for Methanol.

I was just stating that anything you usually put on fire would not be healthy at all if you inhaled it.

too

funny that things cooked over an open flame contain carcinogens. but since killing bambi is an n1 thing to do no one even considers it. (granted, you dont eat that multiple times a day every day, just sayin)

I read that last sentence like 5 times trying to figure out that by leg you mean let, and while its true nothing is really "good" for you anymore, somethings can be worse than others.

yes, but to say that pot is somehow more bad than tobacco or alcohol is ridiculous.

I'm just gonna poop here saying I had a fun time while it lasted playing tf2 with lobb, chins and the darkness

that's about as on topic as most of what has been pooped. I figure this will give bill another scapegoat to blame. Maybe we can somehow blame video games on why he smokes pot to begin with and if it wasn't for his belly button would be able to jump higher.

there are times when to smoke pot and times when not to smoke pot

when you figure those out, you'll be well on the way to being a good professional who doesn't have brain seizures every time something goes wrong.

what the fuck are you talking about?

all im saying is that smoking pot isnt a big deal, getting black out drunk in my opinion is worse than smoking a fucking pipe of pot.

i agree with everything joe said.

adam just loves eraging so hard on me for no reason ever since i started using DC again. im an easy target because im a 19 year old. why would i blame something to be the reason for me smoking pot? i enjoy it. no big deal. you enjoy buying your expensive rare beers and i enjoy smoking good weed. what is the difference.

all im saying is that pot isnt horrible for you, and that smoking pot has NEVER been listed on a death report or w/e as the reason for that person dying. when Margarette smoking can be listed.

comparing weed and cigarettes to be similar is ok, but to say that smoking weed is worse or as bad as cigarettes is fucking retarded.

this has never been proved.

you have proven it is bad for you, i agree 100%. however i believe that it is not nearly as harmful as alcohol, unlike you for some reason i dont understand, im willing to accept that you have a different opinion.

there is no clearly defined right or wrong answer.

This isn't about you being made a target, you made a ignorant biased statement based on what you enjoy to do and because you enjoy it you look for excuses and acceptance by making irrelevant comparisons.

We all have our vices, yours is weed, mine is alcohol. But you don't see me standing on a pedestal proclaiming that alcoholism doesn't cause liver/kidney failure/cirrhosis.

I'd figure I go ahead and add this.

Yo Bill, you should just play video games all day and drink nothing but water and juice and not go outside.

It is hard to get sick then.

Both instances of alcohol vs pot consumption used in moderation are insignificant
your keyword being prolonged...and yes prolonged usage of pot is the same (if not worse) than smoking cigs

to say that there is no clearly defined right or wrong answer is a slap in the face to anyone who had someone close to them die of lung cancer or emphysema

additionally, the direct correlation of people dying from pot is usually masked because a significant percentage of people who smoke pot also smoke cigs

1. lack of anything to do at work today and Bill's stupidity happened to be my target since nothing else even remotely eventful is going on.
2. Recent loss of friend/family member to cancer makes my interest level in his argument exponentially higher than it should.

What is strangely coincidental about all this is that I'm not even opposed to smoking pot...I did it for years and situationally depending I'd prolebay do it again. But never once in my life did I try to cloud my vision of what I was doing to my body, I knew, understood an accepted the risks I took/take.

yes, bill needs to separate the smoking part from the pot part. the smoking part is bad, so is cigs, cigars etc. to what extent, i donno. pot and cigars (generally, not talking about swishers here) are natural, tobacco is doctored up with so much shit its not funny.

I am glad that I don't live in a dorm, I just live in a household that goes through several cases of coors light every week.

I do love me some Coors Light. Though you know, they should say "lite" on them. Just thought about that.

Now I'm kind of pissed off.

Bill you may not remember this (which would be very ironic) but one time you told me you smoked too much pot and you could tell your memory was going away fast and that you weren't able to think as clearly

i was probably on a drug other than pot when i said this.

I really don't care much what people choose to do with their own bodies, but to act like it's not harmful is just willful ignorance.
