Looking to make an amazing meal in crockpot saturday.

Would like it to include some form of alcohol in the meal itself (beer/liqour/wine/whatever), and perhaps a drink to pair it with while eating...

Im striking out and cant think of anything or find a recipie that makes me go hmmmm

Beef stew made with a beer of your choice is always great. Add raisins or figs or something like that for an unusual twist.

And then make it a bed of rose pedals and see if you can talk it into making sweet love with you

I just made this yesterday

step one fry 5-10 pieces of bacon in skillet
when bacon cooked add to crock pot

step two seer two pieces of boneless beef chuck roast
in said bacon fat in said pan. when meat browns place in crock pot on bacon

step three put quartered onions these are the baby ones or pearl whatever they are called(whatever onions you perf does not really matter) in said pan that
bacon and beef was in add 1 bottle chocolate brooklyn stout and two 11-12oz cans of beef gravy (beef gravy does not taste like gravy or even stays the consitancy of gravy during cooking) so shut up
also add (your salt peper) i put these on the meet directly - then whatever spices you want in the beer/gravy/onion mix on the stove.
when the mix on the stove is simmering add to already heating crock pot let six for 6-8 hours on high or until the beef falls apart when you try and pick up a large piece.

also i made a home made alfredo sauce with just heavy cream and grated parm. to put over the meat once plated and it was sex in mouth.

if you dont like alfredo look up how to do a demi glaze and use that instead.

i also made twice baked potatos to go with this by microwaving them for about 2-3 mins then baking in the oven
remove a small lid from the side of the potato and gutting them in a pan
mixing in a large amount of sour cream and (whatever cheese blend you like) some butter and salt pepper

altogether i give my efforts and the meal taste 9/10

I had mt dew to go with this but if your looking to entertain company i would suggest new castle.
