I'm married, used to get on Anthony/#'s and others vent all the time, went to this vent and all of the sudden it's like no one can hear me or I sound like I'm an alien being smothered by a pillow.

At any rate, I'll have to buy a new mic. I love headsets, so it'll probably be that.

Again though, I hear myself just fine when I do the vent tests, or when I record myself on sound recorder or even myspace kareoke (insert laugh....here < >). So really :donno:

if it's my mic. If it works for other programs, why not vent?

dont do that

I had to boost my volume because they all said I was too quiet. : /

well when i had a webcam, it changed my default sound source and i would get on vent and without fail 30 seconds after signing on my voice would turn to complete batshit crazy static (and i only knew based on other peoples reactions)

i had to change it in audio properties to what it was before

I went there and only had one apparent driver. Course since I had to clean install recently perhaps I had a better driver on before that took some of that mess out.

:dunno: It's time for a new mic anyways. I'll keep this one running until the new one... maybe get it in a week?
