well i can tell you that while i sit here eating my third bowl of this majestic concoction the bacon is a bit lost in the entire mixture
but when you get a bite that is just the bacon and the sauce it is like a kick in the panties from flavor town

Bacon will never maintain its texture, crispiness, or anything good like that when slow-cooked in liquid. I tried using 1/2" cubes to avoid that, but the only way to maintain baconation is to add the cubes right before eating, but that prevents the rest of the food from being baconated.
