Entering several beers in a competition next week. I need to submit the paperwork in the next 3 days. They require a name for each beer so help me out. I need a name for:

1. An export stout (was shooting for a big imperial stout over 9% abv but it came in short at 8%) yes dan this is the roasty beef stout. Whn sampled last night it is very similar to left hand brewery's fade to black and sierra nevada's 30th anniversary stout. It is pitch black in color, quite bitter from dark grains, clearly hops.

2. Wheat beer...hefeweizen style with minimal clove and some fruit flavors from the yeast similar to banana

3. Same as #2 except aged on black berries. My idea behind this was to try something with fresh fruit and see what it did to a beer. People who are clearly really into beer go apeshit over this. It smells and tastes like #2 but with hints of the blackberries. The color is leaning towards light purple cuz of the berries.

also, desolation porter is banned from this competition because they do clearly allow wood/barrel aged beers

Wow I forgot about that...it was brewed during a wicked thunderstorm and I remember thinking god damn it's a shame the name storm king stout is already taken.

The blackberry is kinda mellow, clearly dominating at all so "blitz" is a little overkill

While afk for a minimal amount of time I considered the idea of B-B Weizen so you folks are right in line with what I was thinking.

For the stout it would be awesome to somehow incorporate the whole thunderstorm thing into a name that is somewhat descriptive of the beer itself...ie burnt, roasty, black bitterness...etc

Of the contests I have been associated with a name was never needed/desirable unless entered in a specialty category where a hint of what was aimed for helped judge.

Coming up with suitable names for things has to be one of the most difficult tasks I can think of, basically you have one opportunity clearly to fuck it up.

It is AHB/BJCP sanctioned and no name = incomplete and clearly a valid entry

They even require me to list the grain bill down to partial ounces and what water treatment/yeast nutrient was used
boil time, mash temps, amount of water used for sparging...etc
it's fucked up...I'm debating screwing all the numbers else these fuckers have an exact copy of my original recipes
