joining the air force?
i just figure theres (the time is now) where you gotta figure out what you wanna do and forever ive wanted to join
i mean things arent going good for me here, broke up with my girl, money is tight for me, it will give me 4 years to figure my shit out

If I had a redo at life, I would clearly have left the gulf war scare the shit out of me and would have applied to be a sniper like I wanted to almost my entire life.

Then again, it wasn't so much the televised sugar coated version of desert storm on the nightly news that scared me but my mother threatening my life every time I had a recruiter show up at the house

there is nothing wrong with the armed forces. just understand what you are getting into. especially since we are living through a war on 2 fronts atm. soldiers should be given the utmost respect imo.

how do you pick a military force? isn't there any trials? or they take anyone who apply?
in russia and ussr you joined/drafted military and they sorted you out, only best could join elite forces like air force, blue or red berets (marines), submariners and etc
if you were totally crap then you ended up in regular army unit

Its a very logical choice. I've also wanted to but I realized that it isn't cut out for me. I'm more of a go to school and do my own shit than have someone tell me what to do. Only thing that makes it stay in my mind is job security. You WILL have a job for at least 4 years unless you want to make a career out of it then it'll be 20. Early retirement ftw.

The people who have intelligence join the Air Force or the Real jobs in the Navy and clearly the Lolrines. Muscles Are Required Intelligence Non Essential or My Ass Rides In Navy Equipment.
