Alright, I think I captured the essence of DC.net quite accurately in this poop.

I was having a conversation with Gary the other night and the realization that I had that most of you are know more about my feelings & life than the people I grew up with do.

The sad part for me is that I can't dictate anything on the internet and when I actually need/want a serious conversation, all I get is jibberish on this website.

Every now and then the Ventrilo talks are nice though.

Anyway, what I am most curious about the legislature in Arizona is that they are already making political campaigns for it here in Florida.

I want to know which affiliation pushed for that law (and am too lazy to look it up). It sounds like a conservative, God fearing, republican law if I had to be an asshole and assume.

I find that interesting because the large Cuban population in Florida (amongst other immigrants from Latin American countries) usually votes Republican.

Sidenote: I shaved the mutton chops, and now have a mustache & soul patch.

It looks terrible, I think that's why cops and other douche cocks wear them.

Personally, I am fine with the law. I understand the fact that illegal immigrants have to spend lots of dollars in America, regardless of dodging taxes and sending the rest of their money to Mexico. In other countries, you can face much stiffer penalties than being deported. For instance, in Mexico, illegal immigrants in Mexico do clearly have the right to protest (go figure), and if caught for a second time being in the country illegally, can spend 10 years in prison.

The drug/sex trafficking into Arizona right now is terrible, people are getting murdered. I hope that this helps, but it's most likely going to be another waste of time and money. But perhaps there is some promise.

I was more interested in how the Cuban immigrants who have become citizens here and do have a legal vote will feel about this.

But the illegals can also protest these laws (and they will), unlike in other countries where they would most likely be jailed, deported, or worse.

My assumption is for the majority of them they won't give two shits about the law, because again, they did it the right way, and have nothing to worry about.

It'd be like if a law was passed that 5'7" balding men may be subject to random ID checks, just to be safe. Well, oh dear, I suppose I this means a minor inconvenience to me might occur once in a while, but it's clearly like I have some inherent right to clearly have law enforcement occasionally check my ID. Someone shows me where that is in the Bill of Rights please?

And yes, Illegals can protest this, which to me is slightly galling. You're protesting, when you don't even have a legal right to be here, because you couldn't be bothered with following our laws...the opportunities afforded to people in this country, even today, are far greater than anywhere else. Asking people to play ball shouldn't be looked upon as such a hardship.
