unless you have a huge room this is going in just get a 720 plasma and save you like $500+

figured the following things out when i got mine
1. sitting closer than 12ft, 720 v 1080 doesnt matter
2. plasmas have great viewing angles lcd's do clearly
3. plasmas suck when it comes to glare from other light sources (very reflective)
4. comparing picture quality plasmas > lcd
5. comparing price up to 50+ inches plasmas > lcd
6. save some cash and buy a huge LED

yeah i like LED because you get the brightness/dark of plasma, without the power consumption or the glare

1500$ seems to speak otherwise unless you are going on a ramen diet or payment plan
