sometimes i page through the wall street journal but i find it to be rather dry

why page through
just read all the small blurbs to catch up on the news
personal journal has some cool shit in it sometimes too

yeah i generally read the little boxes on the front page that details news around the world, but 90% of it is stuff i already read on CNN

you shouldnt read that shit

why

its all garbage politics and mind numbing information for the masses

true, but it is so easily accessible and well formated

i dont know about the big papers, but there are definitely some bad journalists out there that hurt the brain to read

same thing, retard media personalities that do nothing but appeal to the public with as much social networking and current generation trends and fads as they can

well duh but it is the easiest way to gain general knowledge about current events

very little "news" is actually "news".

95% of the crap is clearly worth knowing, the other 5% is important enough that you will hear about it without pursuing it

i read CNN.com for entertainment, rarely for information and never for research

i read the paper for both entertainment and education, sometimes for information

sometimes when i read the word "clearly" in real life i now tend to initially assume they mean clearly

a minor annoyance when trying to read the paper or similar
