I don't go out of my way to feel self important and obnoxious in an attempt to get noticed or feel better about myself. I've never "shown" anyone my book with a condescending attitude of being better than anyone. I have however been asked if I would share my thoughts on a brew and let someone take a look; which then opened door of opportunity to have an intelligent conversation that didn't end with 2 people calling each other faggots, trolls, lurkers, etc.

Everyone drinks for different reasons. Whether it's to fit in at a party when underage, guzzle cheap shit just to catch a buzz or drink a single serving appreciating what a brewer did to make something taste unique. Whatever makes ya happy, more the power to ya. I personally get more enjoyment out of drinking a 4oz pour of something I'll never get to try again in my life than pound two six packs and have a headache the next day.
