did anyone else have trouble with diablo on normal?
trying to determine whether i just suck or if i just need to stop soloing

currently lvl 31 DH using only found items, no auction stuff

also, found my first legendary -> frosties

auction stuff should be extremely cheap and huge upgrades for low levels

also, demon hunters are 100% glass cannons

ya... the first time i fought izual i got 1 hit ko'd
i'll have to have a peek at whats on the market to see if i can get myself beefed up a bit

Found diablo easy but belial hard
I was using self found shit too, but pie is right auction stuff is cheap for mid level stuff..
I spent maybe 40k so far on setup I'm running now and my damage went up 400%, same for vit and armor

wow....now i just eel like an idiot for not using the auction house
i just breezed through diablo in like 2 minues

my gear is pretty much 1000x better than before and i only spent about 15k

a single hit from an act 2 inferno trash mob (quill rat) does 25k to 30k damage to me

i think im doing diablo wrong

you need meni upgrades

I was getting rocked in act 2 and my stuff is better than yours atm. Stick to act 1

pretty sure vitality doesnt matter, resists and armor do

resist is basically 2:1 vita when effective health is concerned (classes vary)

Checked prices on AH and there was 46 pages of them, ohh well, if I level a DH it can use it at lvl 60 lol

Running around in Inferno, getting smashed in the face a lot.

Yeah, I can't solo jack shit in Interno. Sitting on 850k cashpile because it's not enough it seems to make an upgrade yet.

After a fuck ton of upgrades, somehow my life went down to 13.6k, and resistances went up to 350 ish.

I can do parts of act 1 inferno without shitting myself. I need far better gear though.

Aside from Nerfed Azmodan runs, ideas for farming gp's/items? Can't do Warden/Butcher runs yet.

Since they nerfed vase gold drops I actually went back to NM core of arreat for a bit, I was getting 380k/H, not huge but better than nothing. I never bothered to gear up my monk for killing in inferno, would have cost a few million and I'd rather have the cash right now, things are a bit tight.

Act 3 or 4 hell. basically wherever you can kill stuff well

Don't think I've sniffed 380k an hour tbh. Doing Chirrock runs or whatever his name is in inferno atm.

Slow but steady upgrades let me finally do a solo Warden run. Still way off for act 2+ I'd wager. Sitting at 19k health, 5k armor 400 resist all, and 10k dps. I figure if I can double all that I'd be okish.

Butcher solo attempt 1 result: Died after getting him 3/4 of the way down.

Gen question: Why doesn't my waypoint for Halls of Agony save? I was just going to start doing straight butcher runs but every time I start the quest it only gives me halls 2.

B/c at start of warden quest you only have halls 2 wp....I think if you do the actual butcher quest you have halls 3? But dunno b/c I only do.them both

yea, its just not worth doing only butcher though imo because you wont have full stacks. Warden drops well plus you will have 5 stacks at Butcher every time

Got DH to 50 last night and spent 200k gold on a full set of items.
Went from 700 damage to 17000, that 100% chance to crit is insane (sharpshooter), HP goes down pretty fast though if stuff manages to get to me lol

I understand that, but I'd rather do mass runs that last 1 minute or so than spend 15-20 minutes a run sometimes.

Basically I want something akin to pindle/andy/meph runs.

You are guaranteed 2 rares from warden and butcher with 5 stacks.....why not do one run in 10 mins then hit festering woods/cemetery/ and fields for champs after....
