my original argument is this;
melee always scales better with gear, and as more high-end and specialized gear comes out melee will surpass ranged. not in pure dps but in ability to survive/dps.
feel free to counter this argument in 3 months when the gear is easy to get and the qq threads are about op barbs who dont die.

I think my monk is now rolling in like a min of 15m worth of gear and getting stomped. Wonder how the nerf will affect players in 1.03

How is that even possible

My monk is doing very well right now, after I stacked one resistance (lightning) and then used the passive 'One with everything', all my res's skyrocket. My DPS is decent for A2 Hell, even solo'd butcher without dying. Another great skill to use is Serenity with the boost on duration, makes you immune for a little bit which is fucking awesome, and the cooldown is pretty fast. That paired with cyclone kick to give you knockback + enchantress and mystic ally with a health boost.

Res must be too low, and I think my playstyle is too much "HULK SMASH" for Act2.

Going to probably rebuild skills, and try and get res up to 850 all (592 atm).

I just hate how I ROFLSTOMP act 1 but Act 2 laughs at me.
