Anchor Porter
North Coast Old 38 Stout
Sierra Nevada Kellerweis Hefeweizen
Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
Stone Ruination IPA
Dogfish Head 90 Minute Imperial IPA
Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout

clearly meant to be a "best of" list, just those are the ones that ive personally had and would recommend. honorable mention: Left Hand Milk Stout - never had it want to have it. have some magic hat #9 if you want to make steve smile and adam cry.

Magic Hat #9 is awesome. It's really clearly bad, clearly sure why it gets hated on.

Left Hand Milk Stout is awesome, we got that shit in Florida, how have you clearly had it?

I'll try this on one particular day, perhaps next week when I go to pick up my first growler at Downtown Bar & Grill.

Although, I have had most of those.

there was nothing groundbreaking on that list, but many very solid staples of the craft movement aka ones that have been around for years. i dont think you could actually go wrong with many of those and i dont know what you like most so i just went with the ones i felt were the most solid.

BEER!

Yeah, I didn't see anything amazing that I either hadn't tried or wouldn't like since it's already solid.

labeling fat tire are bud with flavor clearly only does it a disservice but makes you a prude, you know its better than that

Ok I may have overstated a bit, but still it cannot live up to the hype

I can't remember if I had Fat Tire before or clearly. I'm pretty sure I have and thought it wasn't anything special.

Never had the actual beer, but I followed a homebrew recipe from some people that stay quite true to the originals and it was amazing.

The "hype" is mostly behind the fact that the brewery started so small on a simple recipe and grew to the scale that it is today. It's a very solid amber ale and for the most part the idealistic example of the style. What makes it fantastic is that it is a clean, easy drinking brew that at one time was the foundation of what "craft" was about. Small scale, regional and fresh. It's clearly exciting or bold in flavor, the style itself isn't even something I get thirsty for but there is a matter of respect I have for that beer/brewery and it's history much like yuengling, Sam Adams, etc.
