I enjoy mine a good bit, but doubt there is a huge difference between a droid and iphone other than the music.

ill be honest, apps look better on the iphone, though no real functionality difference
at least for the few apps my boss and i have checked out side by side
but i assume thats because you actually have to be approved to be an apple app

i have the original iphone, no itunes on my computer

battery life is pretty good, it was our dj for nearly the entire 8 hr drive and still had over 30% by the time we were going to bed/when i charged it

i would assume new iphones are even better, i dont have 3g or 4g but yeah. i have had no issues with battery

i am the worst ilolphone user that you could possibly pick to ask this question

i have 7 apps installed on my phone, 4 of them gary installed to play when he was at my house, 3 of them are beer related and i dont use them anymore

i cant speak for the newer version but the original release one that im still using needs to be charged 3 times a day, the network shuts off abruptly at 1:00 every day and now no longer supports 3g

wireless networking no longer works on my phone making that worthless

the new model costs $300 as a "discounted upgrade" they can kindly blow me, when my current phone breaks im uncertain i will even get a new phone of any kind to replace it, fuck it

im sure there are plenty of other smartphones for a fraction of the price that you could be just as happy with and have just as much utility

I have a 4, the battery life is great. I streamed music today for 2-3 hours + texted, browsed etc and now need to charge. If I just periodically text and make a call or two during the day I usually have 50-60% battery life by the time i go to bed.

if youre going to pay 750 bux for the plan, might as well spend 200 for the newest phone instead of 50 or 100 for an older one

i have an iphone 4, and very happy with it so far. the only issue with music is that i cannot manually update it like any other ipod, meaning i cannot pick and choose music from different computers like i could with a non-phone ipod.

i also just stream online radio like my jewish counterpart with the pandora app

app variety/functionality excellent

I have an iPod touch and the on-screen keyboard is still a hassle after getting used to it. Compare the iPhone keypad and a Droid with a swype-enabled keypad and see how you like them.
