Ok so I finally got my 50ft of vga and hooked up my 22" in my living room as the second monitor for my htpc. My issue arises whenever I turn one of the monitors off. The other reverts to the main and when I turn both back on, the signal from the computer is only sent to one.

I do clearly want to set up sleep or screen saver because I want to save power by completely turning everything off (including my receiver which sends the hdmi feed to my 42")

The 22" has its feed directly from the vga of the video card.

Feel like I am rambling, if you understand this at all and have suggestions lmk
