is it easy to get in trouble from doing this? every 4 months or so i torrent 2-3 movies. is it clearly worth it? what is your guys opinions

i heard you can only get caught if you seed. i never seed anyway so :donno:. i haven't had a problem ever. it doesn't make sense to go after everyone who torrents, only the site owners would get targeted i think.

there is a program called BT guard that masks your ip etc for the paranoid people

forgot who told me but if you download 24/7 for a month and your isp sees that you have accumulated 500 terabytes of downloaded shit, then red flags go up

they basically told us that our house used up more bandwidth in one month than the entire city of Bloomsburg combined

their "course of action" was to offer us an upgraded service plan
