my dad has droid 2
he said he has something running called "droid fuel", which has a yellow triangle with a lightning bolt in the status bar. whenever he selects it a screen opens that allows him to manage all apps, turn on or off. but when he does use it to manage an app like various things start running, his internet will repeat all his browsing history, basically his phone gets overloaded and locks up and he has to take battery out.

ive searched for "droid fuel" and ofc only get fuel price apps.

wtf did he do? i told him just to go to a store and have them look at shit, though they will probably blow him off cuz he didnt get it at that store

sounds like a stupid app

do a factory reset, thats what the store will suggest

hopefully they will do that for him lol, he has zero patience for this shit
then he will call me, ill have to explain to him how to do it while he painfully describes each step as he does it

a better solution

boot the phone in safe mode by holding the menu key while it turns on

then uninstall the app

correction, safe mode for droid 2 is boot the phone with the keyboard open and hold the OK key

if the people in the store wont help him i will tell him to do that

i suggest you try safe mode first

factory reset will wipe the phone completely and that is always a hassle

its also likely that the store will do nothing but tell him to call tech support

alright, but its painful to do it over the phone
/complains about having to do once what you do daily

submerge phone in warm water for 15-20 seconds, then factory reset

this will clean out dust

isnt the triangle plus lightning bolt the charging icon?

why you deletin vent channels yo

i opened vent yesterday, i saw duped and 45 random people in a channel and about 15 random "pvp1,2,3,4,5" channels

I believe it was like 2 channels, but still donno why private channels needed to be deleted

i'm deleting all the runecsape channels

and pinballs channels fuck that

duped logs on vent for the first time in 3 months

creates 17 rift channels

tell him to digest it

it does clearly even show up whenst searching "droid fire"
