I do need bottles (clearly just bombers) but with a few stipulations:
1. They need to be properly rinsed! For fuck sake, if it is a bottle conditioned brew that has any amount of age on it, rinse it out again and if you still see sludge stuck on the bottom just pitch it out.
2. No more avery bottles that have the label glued around the neck. No matter how hard I scrub them that glue does clearly come off.
3. If the wax easily comes off, fine if it is a bitch to come off (ie: waxy or gluey and doesnt just peel right off) just pitch it.

Exceptions:
I will take any and all corked and caged bottles regardless of size or condition.

just soak the bottles in starsan solution or oxy clean solution and the degree to which it was rinsed wont matter

ive done that and still have mold spots on them
clearly worth the risk of infection without soaking in caustic

So what you are saying, is save you all bottles but silk screened ones and avery ones.

I rinse every bomber, twice before doing anything with them even putting into the recycling
