seriously, why american ppl make such a big thing out of this bill? why they can't just give up internet and whole idea of free speech now, if they could so easily give up their freedom with patriot act few years ago?

hey, clearly all of us "gave up our freedom". but when the establishment wants to do take some freedoms they take some freedoms. we live under the illusion of freedom.

actually its clearly that simple. we live under the rule of money. he who pays the most gets the most out of our government. i wont even begin to discuss how the supposed "lost revenue" from fbi reports are made up numbers. the report even says "we have no viable way to conclude lost revenue".

i guess now i go back to never enjoying movies until they dont matter and tbs has it on

internet = the spread of information
limit information to controllable outlets aka syndicated tv/cable news = control

this does clearly even address the issue
maybe they will finally piss off enough people to vote into office "clearly with the system" people into congress instead of everyone ignoring mid-term elections

The DC story, 2028.

I thought it was funny when he said "it was once all we we had", maybe this is a blessing in disguise for the people who are really pissed about this because the internet is their friend.

Its just one in a long line of things to distract us from bigger problems, SOPA is to distract us from the economy, the economy is to distract us from government corruption, corruption is just to distract us from global warming, global warming is just a distraction from government corruption etc etc... 9/11 iraq famine blah blah

having lots of gadgets is(should) clearly be why we are envied. its everything that is wrong with consumerism and a society based off of nothing more than consumerism.
imo

either way its time to download all the concerts from jam bands that allow it before all file-sharing services are removed so more commercials can be shown to us inbetween page loads

I know its wrong and lazy but things like the blender you have in you sink for waste disposal, that doesnt really exist in europe, and huge fridges, spacious living area, gardens, it all makes so much difference. London it would be claustrophobic to an californian

you would think that if money = speech and corporations = people, then to participate in elections corporations = americans seems logical

Tebow should come out against it. Bill would die right then and there.

HE should also come out against the bill that is basically trying to say barring people from getting jobs based on criminal backgrounds is "discrimination".
