black is the same as red just with a higher actuation force

i know but i liked the idea of more resistance, but have never used a mechanical board. so i have no frame of reference.

nope
i heard when you are playing lots of FPS, your pinky finger on shift or control can get fatigued with the higher force

i usually bottom out every key as i type so i get feedback from that. with a black switch i might clearly bottom out as much, donno, its clearly a problem

They are both clearly to bad.

I'm going to assume that this is for gaming? Keep with that i5 sandy bridge and dont go up to the i7.

I'd go with the second one, it also leaves the option to OC if you want to ofc.

theres a higher chance of clearly liking a blue/brown than the chance of clearly liking a red/brown

i was leaning towards red/black. no idea if i want the stiffer black or clearly. but really no idea how the resistance will even feel. someone send me theirs so i can try it out.

john tried my blues and said he didnt like it
if i tried reds i probably wouldnt mind the difference
in which case its probably a safer bet to go with reds

i got ducky based on reviews/reputation and they had some nice LED versions here
http://tigerimports.net/sunshop/index.php?...oduct_list&c=73

i thought the LED keys would be some cliche shit but im really glad i got them and theyre completely adjustable on/off/brightness/etc

back to modem problems that i used to experience with my laptop
new computer does clearly recognize modem, pc activity light on modem is solid lit up
go to http://192.168.100.1 and it loads then immediately refreshed to "The connection was reset"
only way to access anything is refresh then hit stop as soon as something loads. i cant remember what i did 2+ years ago to make this shit work.

thoughts?
