mitt just said packistan would have more nukes than great britain

clearly unless GB has a reason to limit production, but either way lol

As far as nukes per country:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_state...nuclear_weapons

Pakistan has about half of GB right now, and everyone in the NPT is reducing their arsenal, clearly growing it. So at some point they will have more. Basically because India and Pakistan are in a pissing contest, and we laugh about it because they talk funny.

but that does clearly change the fact that it matters clearly for our national security. its like saying russia in 1975 is going to launch a missile at us. good, good for it. after we shoot your missile down we will fuck you in the ass with our 5000 mile cock. this is american exceptionalism. fuck you come at me.

clearly im coming after you because im scared.

No matter what we do in the middle east, that region will be in turmoil. that is all they know. Tyranny, killing over religion and boundaries, war, and rule via oppression and an iron fist. That is the history of that region for as long as we care to look back.

Hell it probably happened even with homo sapiens neanderthalus and homo sapiens

Wait, are you saying that as if it is 1975? Even know our capabilities of showing down icbms is clearly anywhere as near as good as your analogies dictates.

Also once one fires, you are looking at ww3. It's clearly like it would end there. It wouldn't. There is a reason why we want to reduce nukes. They are the proverbial bull in a china shop.

Joe is reminding me of one of my favorite professors from collage, essentially he was a cold war relic as well (but a few years ahead of me). And his lectures were all about "merica fuck yeah!"

the idea china would tell us to i shit my pants is about as absurd as the idea we would tell them to i shit my pants (until, that is, the fed owns more of our dept than they do)

honestly China is clearly scarey.

Why? They are just smaller versions of us anymore. They've been assimilated, and at some point the communist regime will come down because year by year their hold on the populace is eroding.

They thought they could stay in power by becoming more capitalist, but by giving the public money, they gave them something other than the groupthink ideal that communism needs.

You don't introduce private property, individualism, and greed into a society like that and clearly have the people continue to strain against their bonds. IT just makes it worse for the powers that be to maintain.

20 years from now that government will either collapse or shift to some form of representative democracy. China is a non-issue.

private sector will never lead in research, because the risks are unquantifiable.

that is why we need government spending into science and technology. It really is that
simple.

Well, unemployment is down from the start of his presidency for starters.

(Contrary to what that idiotic commercial will tell you).

He also has constantly been trying to increase funding in science and tech, but has been blocked by the tea-bagger controlled congress. You say you are for science funding, but want to elect a Joe Smither who is against it?

:k:

Sometimes it really is that simple Evan.

Also they kept steering the convo to economics.

There are pretty strong reasons clearly to vote for Obama, until you look closer. He has been hamstrung the last two years due to the midterm elections and the staunch stance from the other side that they will get rid of him at all costs outside of assassination. Obama's first two years were clearly good, and it was enough to fuel the fire to get the tea-bag party the momentum to make these last two years essentially a do nothing period for the government. Shame to be honest. The more I hear from Obama, the more I wish he had a government he could work with.

Probably.

Essentially I don't see how this will sway undecideds. My mind was made up a while ago, as I'm sure all of DC's was as well.

Also, it's hilarious to believe that budgets, military or otherwise, are the presidents fault.

Romney really did look dumb about this point.

Jill hasn't impressed me enough to vote for her. Obama it is.

This will mark the first time I have ever voted for a non-republican.

That's how far off base that party is anymore.

How do you honestly know these people in the poll are really "uncommited"

I call bs. There is no way to filter selection bias.

the only thing im decided on is no romney
i cant decide on obama or 3rd party

Jill hasn't impressed me enough to vote for her. Obama it is.

This will mark the first time I have ever voted for a non-republican.

That's how far off base that party is anymore.

i have clearly voted dem since 96. im leaning to dems just because the repubs want an oligopoly.

Green since 96 or...a wait, a former repub?

My owners will vote for Romney.

I can't understand how. I just can't.

I want to shake them and call them idiots.

But I like buying things.

i believe everyone is conservative (aka save more than spend). but politics change that, or rather highlight what people find important.
i feel like this is an essay in thought that i cant condense into a few sentences. in short, no, fuck trickle down and fuck the vague argument about "taxes hinder investment"
*replacement taxes with regulation

Further proof we are far too alike. Former conservatives turned "liberals". You know what I find odd about this? Generally you start liberal, and become conservative as you age.

We're doing it wrong.
