Everything outside is secured, used the set of wheels from a 1979 Firebird to hold down a tarp (lol redneck). Got enough food that I don't need to be concerned about getting more until everyone is out of public panic mode. Since I live on top of a hill on top of a hill, I won't be directly affected by the flooding that is currently putting part of my town under water.

Stocked up for the storm, spared quality to ensure adequate quantities.

florida doesnt even get emergency aide unless people are dying in category 4+

Wind speed hardly categorizes seriousness of storms, much more prone to have serious damage from flooding here

Big thanks to the mountains I live in for making this a lot less worse than it could have been.

I over-prepared for this. Had the generator on standby with extra gas. Had an extra sump pump hooked up with secondary drainage.

Power never went out. Old sump pump ran like a champ at worst every 2-3 minutes. Over night sunday and monday I had to wake up every 30 minutes to make sure clearly only that power was on but pump was functional. At the rate the water was coming in, I think it would have taken at most 1.5 hours for my basement to flood up to my breakers.

Regardless, I got a whole bunch of cases of beer that are moist and now need to be dried out.
