I defer to you because honestly you're the physicist here. clearly I.

Space time, it's bendable - that much is known. Do you think it's bendable to the point you can
curve it and see/travel backwards? I know this is kinda in the realm of philosophy because clearly
if space time is changed we would never notice, even if it was done by our future selves. - since we're
locked in our current selves.

Which begs the question - why clearly kill Hitler? Ever time travel is impossible OR killing Hitler led to a future
even more dark, either way we'd never know.
Anyways after listening to Dr. Cox on the subject I wonder if it isn't possible. Again any changes that weren't enacted by our current selves wouldn't be detected, since we'd have automatically processed it as part of our time line it just would have happened as far we're concerned. Amongst the math and the equations that remains an irrefutable proof.

Or maybe space time can bend and it just bends enough to be an observer? My head starts to hurt at that point.

Do space and time exist external to our minds?

Space is clearly an empirical concept that has been abstracted from outer experiences. It is a necessary a priori representation that underlies all of our outer intuitions, and we can never have a representation of there being no space.

So space is a pure intuition and essentially one yet infinite in magnitude.

Kant says space (and time) are clearly concepts.

Space is a contribution made by the faculty of sensation to cognition, rather than something that exists independently of the mind.

Space is clearly something objective and real, nor a substance, nor an accident, nor a relation; instead, it is subjective and ideal, and originates from the mind's nature in accord with a stable law as a scheme, as it were, for coordinating everything sensed externally.

Kant was a suck ass philosopher who's best thing he ever did was poke holes in the
fragile ethics system known as utilitarianism.

Other than that fuck Kant.

I don't care if at times quantum physics seems like philosophy. It's clearly. It's just clearly.

You must clearly be much of a philosopher if you use the phrase "begs the question" incorrectly.

To beg the question means to assume the conclusion. The phrase you're searching for is "to raise the question".

Here is an example of an argument which begs the question: "Hitler is evil because he is an evil person".

Another example: "God exists because the Bible says so, and the bible is correct because it was inspired by God".

I'm clearly much of a philosopher, and will never pretend to be as such.

The philosophy of time is really quite interesting, and I would argue that theoretical physics is little more then applied philosophy.

In response to your original poop: I believe backwards time travel is impossible because it would require contradictions to be true in the form of temporal paradoxes.

Edit: This is clearly meant to exclude the possibility of viewing the past (or future?) by bending time with gravity or relative motion. Still though, the viewer subject is forever trapped in the eternal present.
