If you look at the patch info, they have it fixed so that you can play d2 w/o a cd now.
However I'm sure they'll make a new d2 loader soon to fix the problem.

kinda pissed that i wont be able to see what all this dumbness is about for another 7-8 hours

anything that eliminates people from cheating or doing things in the game that they are not suppose to be able to do is cool with me ofc

I pretty much quit pvp/playing d2 and resorted to nothing but *magic finding* when I joined a game and watched people fc'ing

only hack I would truly want is the one that removes the darkness of the night/day/dungeons and makes everything bright
