i'd say so but you'll need someone to hold your hand through alot of things

imo the game is more fun as a noob though cause there are surprises... for me at this point its just concentrated grinding cause i know all of the efficient ways to do everything.

also is it a big long ass grind to get anywhere, or did they up the grindiness with RS2 (I played rs2 and rsc a bit, but i wasnt really good up until right before they made gay ass grand exchange)

nah the towns are literall 1/2 the distance from eachother compared to rs2 cause there's no running

yes you can merchant but there isnt really a stable economy yet on the new server
